Teradur Precision
Rails™
"Precision-engineered rails that keep your sintering and induration lines running — shift after shift, year after year."
What is Teradur Precision Rails™?
Teradur Precision Rails™ are custom-engineered replacement and OEM rails designed specifically for sintering and induration agglomeration lines in iron ore processing and steel production. These are not standard structural rails — they are precision components manufactured to exacting dimensional tolerances from heat-stable alloy steels selected for the specific thermal and mechanical demands of the application.
Sintering and pelletising lines subject their rails to a uniquely demanding combination of sustained high temperatures, cyclic thermal loading, heavy rolling loads from pallet cars and grate cars, and continuous abrasion from scale and fine ore. Standard rails fail prematurely under these conditions. Teradur Precision Rails™ are engineered from the outset for this environment.
Each rail is manufactured with integrated features including lugs, bolt patterns, alignment features, and expansion joints — engineered to the customer’s existing equipment footprint for OEM replacement or retrofit installation.
Full Chemistry & Properties.
Teradur Precision Rails™ are manufactured from heat-stable alloy steels specified per application. Material selection is based on operating temperature, load profile, and line speed. Contact our technical team for a specification sheet.

How It Protects.
Rail material is selected based on the specific operating temperature, cyclic thermal load, and mechanical load profile of the sintering or induration line. Heat-stable alloy steels are specified to maintain dimensional stability and mechanical properties throughout the operating cycle.
Unlike off-the-shelf rails, Teradur Precision Rails™ incorporate lugs, bolt patterns, alignment features, and expansion joints as integral design elements — eliminating field fabrication and ensuring correct installation geometry from the first shift.
Rails are manufactured to the customer's existing equipment drawings for direct OEM replacement, or to a new design developed by our engineering team for retrofit upgrades where the original rail has been discontinued or redesigned.
